By Zoila Palma: During cabinet’s regular session on October 21, 2025, cabinet reaffirmed its zero-tolerance position on domestic violence and committed to strengthening the national framework for prevention, protection, and prosecution.
Following the tragic arson in San Felipe that claimed 3 innocent lives, the Government noted that it will continue to support the relevant Ministries and agencies.
Those include the Ministry of Human Development, Family Support and Gender Affairs; the Ministry of Home Affairs and New Growth Industries; and the Ministry of Health and Wellness, to ensure that survivors of violence receive the care, protection, and justice they deserve.
