Businesswoman held up at home in Fabers Road Extension

By Aaron Humes: A self-employed businesswoman of Fabers Road Extension in Belize City suffered a fright when she was attacked inside her home and robbed just before three this afternoon.

The complainant told police she was in her bedroom sitting on her bed when three men, one of whom carried a firearm, entered her back window and held her up inside her bedroom.

They stole US$4,000 (BZ$8,000) which she had under her pillow and walked out through the front door, disappearing into the bushes behind the house.

One person has been identified as wanted in connection with the incident, which Police are investigating.
