By Breaking Belize News Staff: Police are investigating the shooting death of Howard Ramirez, 17.
Ramirez was reportedly caught burglarizing a container in the Boiton Area of San Ignacio.
The owner of the container allegedly found Ramirez burglarizing the place and says that Ramirez attacked him with a piece of lumber.
The owner says he then took out his licensed weapon and shot him in self defence.
Ramirez then ran out of the container and collapsed about 40 ft away.
Investigations continue.
