By Breaking Belize News Staff: Burrell Boom contractor, Lyndon Romero, 49, is out on bail after being charged with burglary for allegedly breaking into a home in Fresh Pond and stealing a number of items valued over $7,000.
Romero was arraigned in court on Wednesday and appeared unrepresented. He pleaded not guilty and was offered bail in the sum of $5,000 plus two sureties of $2,500 each. He is due back in court on March 23.
Romero is accused burglarizing the home sometime between September 24 and December 6. The owner of the home reported that he had recently purchased the home, and changed the locks between that time and was storing a number of items for a friend. When he went back to check on the house, the lock was broken and a number of items including a bed, a TV, extension cord, a fan, a baby crib, a baby prom, a glass stand and a teddy bear all to a total value of $7,065.
