By Aaron Humes: A burglary incident has been reported at the Bingo King Apartment complex, leaving a resident’s apartment ransacked.
The complainant reported that she had locked her door upon leaving on February 2 at approximately 8:00 a.m., but upon her return around noon on February 11, she discovered that both doors were wide open. Notably, there were no signs of forced entry on the locks.
Upon entering her apartment, she found that several items had been stolen, including a black Samsung 32-inch TV, a wooden bed, assorted children’s clothing in a brown barrel, a blue standing fan, a pair of grey and white New Balance tennis shoes, and a dress table. The total value of the stolen goods is estimated at $800.
Investigators quickly responded to the scene, where investigations revealed that entry may have been gained through a damaged aluminum window located near the door. The investigation is ongoing, and police are appealing to anyone with information regarding the incident to come forward.
