Burglary hits Burrell Boom home

By Aaron Humes: A burglary occurred at a residence in Tigre Creek, Burrell Boom Village, on Friday, March 13, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. The victim, a 43-year-old security guard, reported that his 30-foot x 20-foot grey cement bungalow house was broken into, and assorted electrical tools valued at approximately $1,000 were stolen.

Police responded to the scene after receiving a tip and found that entry was gained by removing the glass louvers of a window on the southern side of the building. The Scene of Crime (SOC) Technician processed the scene, but no prints were lifted.

The investigation is ongoing, and police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
