By Zoila Palma: The Belize Tourism Board (BTB) has announced a National Flag Day School Giveaway to mark the upcoming observance on September 1st.
As part of the celebration, 25 official Belize flags will be distributed to schools across the country.
Selected schools will be required to raise their flag on National Flag Day and share photos of the occasion with the BTB. The initiative is aimed at fostering national pride and encouraging students to take part in the patriotic observance.
Schools interested in participating must apply by August 26th through an online form or QR code provided by the BTB.
Selection will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
The BTB encourages schools nationwide to join in the celebration and highlight the importance of the Belizean flag as a symbol of unity and identity.
