By Aaron Humes: A family is preparing to say goodbye to two sons. One is dead and preparing to be buried. The other is accused of killing him.
On Wednesday morning September 25 around 11 a.m., 37-year-old John Bo struck his younger brother, 26-year-old Matyas Carlos Bo in the head with an object. Matyas reacted with deadly force, stabbing John in the chest with a screwdriver.
They had been arguing primarily over a bottle of rum they had been sharing, although other factors were at play according to their parents, who spoke to Channel 5 News. Still, the bereaved parents are puzzling as to how the situation got so out of hand, especially since they had been told to break it up minutes before.
Matyas is being held in police custody on murder charges.
