By Zoila Palma: Recently, British High Commissioner to Belize, Alistair White, paid an introductory courtesy call on the Dr. Osmond Martinez, Minister of State in the Ministry of Finance, Investment, Economic Transformation, Civil Aviation and E-Governance.
He was accompanied by Zana Wade, Climate, Environment and Energy & Regional Caribbean Lead, and Cuffa Ramirez-Aranda, Head of Political and Media.
Minister Martinez and team including Carlos Pol, Chief Executive Officer, and Leroy Martinez, Director of the Climate Finance Unit welcomed the British High Commissioner and his delegation.
Discussions included shared priorities—from climate finance to investment and reaffirming the UK and Belize’s enduring partnership and shared values.
