By Aaron Humes: Former Belize City Councilor Deannie Requena has been named as this afternoon’s stabbing victim in Hattieville.
Requena was found with stab wounds to her face and neck this afternoon just after 1:30, on the side of the road near a police booth on mile 15 of the George Price Highway.
The man who reportedly found her dropped off Requena at the Hattieville Police Station, from where officers rushed her to the hospital.
While her condition is unknown, police are locating persons of interest to their ongoing investigation.
