By Jose Luis Cruz: A shooting is reported to have occurred a short while ago in Unitedville, Cayo District.
The victim, a male person, was seriously injured during the attempt on his life, and he was rushed to the Western Regional Hospital for emergency treatment. There are reports that another person may have been injured in the shooting.
Details regarding the shooting is sketchy at this time but early indications are that the shooting occurred off the highway close to a known drug vendor’s residence in the village.
