By Horace Palacio: A devastating fire ripped through a home behind Tulip Street in San Ignacio Town early this morning. The blaze erupted around 12:30 am, and the cause is currently being investigated by authorities.
San Ignacio Fire Department personnel battled the flames, but the house was ultimately destroyed. Thankfully, no injuries have been reported in connection with the fire.
The San Ignacio Police Department is urgently requesting assistance from the public. If you witnessed any suspicious activity or have any information that could help them determine the cause of the fire, please contact them immediately.
