By Breaking Belize News Staff: Belizean musician Elsworth “Vida” Magdaleno, 40, reportedly sustained head and body injuries in a road traffic accident tonight.
According to preliminary information, officers responded to the Southern Regional Hospital, where they met Magdaleno awaiting x-rays.
The incident reportedly occurred on the Thomas Vincent Highway, in the area of Boca Wina.
Magdaleno, known professionally as Vida or Vida Mags, is associated with Sweet Pain Band and is a well-known name in Belize’s punta and live band scene.
Police have not yet released full details on how the accident occurred or the extent of Magdaleno’s injuries. Fans and well wishers, however, have taken to social media sending him prayers and wishing him a speedy recovery.
