BREAKING: Murder reported in Burrell Boom 

By Aaron Humes: Police have confirmed that one person has been found shot to death at the entrance to the Burrell Boom Road.

Information is that there is a male person on the ground inside the bus shed at the junction with the Philip Goldson Highway, with an apparent gunshot wound to the chest area.

We are reliably informed that tonight’s incident may be related to recent misadventures following the Easter Monday horse racing meet in the village.

An investigation is underway.
