By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): Police are investigating a fatal road traffic accident that occurred on the Old Mullins River Road this morning, claiming the life of a young man.
Quick Response Team (QRT) personnel responded to information received regarding the accident and upon arrival observed a male Hispanic individual lying on the ground with visible injuries to the facial area.
The man was identified as 28-year-old Jessy Palacio, a self-employed Belizean of Old Mullins River Road. A black scooter was seen next to his body, while a parked trailer was observed on the shoulder of the dirt road nearby.
Palacio was pronounced dead at the scene. Police have not yet released further details on how the accident occurred as investigations continue.
