By Breaking Belize News Staff: Police are investigating a suspected murder following the discovery of a man’s lifeless body earlier today in Belize City. The incident, believed to be a robbery gone wrong, was reported around midday, with disturbing images and video circulating on social media.
The victim, who has not yet been identified, was found lying face-down on gravel with a visible head injury and signs of blunt force trauma. He was wearing a salmon-colored shirt and had a black backpack beside him. Early reports suggest the motive may have been robbery, though no official details have been released by police at this time.
According to sources at the scene, no one in the immediate area has been able to identify the deceased man. Police are now working to determine his identity and trace his last known movements.
