By Aaron Humes: According to police, Kenneth Flowers, alias ‘Big Tom’, was targeted by gunfire this evening near Belize Water Services Limited in the St Martin de Porres area.
He has been said to have been rushed to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital.
Flowers survived a shooting incident in Belize before traveling to the U.S. state of Utah many years ago, only to be caught up in a murder case there and deported back to Belize, having fled Belize’s law enforcenment for gang activities here.
He has had other run-ins with the law since but recently emerged as a voice of reason in the wake of a double murder of mother and son Evadnie and Luke Martinez and similar incidents in Southside.
