By Aaron Humes: An armed home invasion incident occurred in Bella Vista, Toledo, early this morning, Saturday, when a family was shot up in their home.
According to police reports, two men broke into the residence around 3 a.m. while the family was sleeping, and the father died on the spot. The mother, identified as Nickey Logan, was rushed to the hospital in Dangriga for urgent medical attention after being shot six times.
Police reports suggest the intended target was the father. They are currently investigating.
