By Aaron Humes, Belmopan: On Tuesday, Prime Minister John Briceño is to receive the report of investigator Assistant Commissioner of Police Suzette Anderson into the alleged abduction of Joseph Budna in Orange Walk Town in August.

Today, Acting Commissioner of Police Bart Jones said he would see the report after it was submitted to the Prime Minister, who has taken on the mantle of determining next steps in the case.

Jones said he would wait to see the surveillance footage from the area until after the Prime Minister makes his determination. All would be revealed in due time, he said.

Budna, incarcerated in Guatemala, accuses the State of ordering and carrying out his alleged abduction to Guatemala where he is wanted for escape and to serve a lengthy jail sentence. He has filed a Constitutional claim charging multiple violations in the High Court. Both the Police Department and Government have denied the charges.
