By Breaking Belize News Staff: Police in Corozal are investigating a case of unlawful sexual intercourse involving a 14-year-old minor.
According to reports, the minor reported to police on January 29, 2026, that she and her 19-year-old boyfriend had sex on 4 separate occasions between July and December 2025.
A medical examination was conducted and a doctor certified that she had been carnally known.
Police have since arrested and charged the boyfriend of Bella Vista Village.
