By Breaking Belize News Staff: Bowen & Bowen, in a release on Tuesday evening, informed the public that due to an unplanned power outage on May 5, their production has been affected, which will result in a shortage of glass bottled beer and stout.
“Despite having backup generators in place, the abrupt nature of these outages has caused significant stress to our control systems and incoming power infrastructure, resulting in equipment failures.
We are thankful that the country is not facing more widespread power failures. However, our systems are unable to respond to the severity and suddenness of the recent outages, leading to operational challenges,” the statement from Bowen said.
To help cover the gap, Bowen says it will increase production in canned beer and stout.
“Our technical teams are working diligently to repair and restore full functionality. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we work through this situation and continue our commitment to delivering quality products to you,” Bowen & Bowen added.
