By Horace Palacio: Anthony “Boots” Martinez is back in the race, hoping to make a political comeback in Port Loyola. The veteran politician, who previously served four terms in the constituency before running in Pickstock in 2020, is now looking to reclaim his old seat.

Martinez argues that current Area Representative Gilroy Usher has failed the people of Port Loyola, pointing to what he describes as poor road conditions and a lack of housing development under Usher’s tenure. He insists that residents deserve better representation and is confident that his experience and past contributions to the area will resonate with voters.

As election day nears, the big question remains—will Port Loyola embrace Martinez’s return, or will voters decide it’s time for fresh leadership?
