By Aaron Humes: Reports say there was the discovery of a body in a decomposed state on Yo Creek Road in Orange Walk this evening, believed to be that of Carlos Cassanova, who had been missing for over a week.
Police responded to the report, and following an investigation, they confirmed the identity of the deceased.
The circumstances surrounding Cassanova’s death remain unclear, and investigators are actively working to gather more details.
As family and friends mourn the loss of Cassanova, Police are urging anyone with information regarding his disappearance and the events leading up to his death to come forward.
