By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Belize Livestock Producers’ Association (BLPA) has announced an extension to the membership registration deadline for farmers wishing to participate in the upcoming 47th Annual General Meeting, scheduled for Saturday, February 28, 2026.
The new deadline for registration is Saturday, February 21, 2026, giving producers an additional window to ensure they are eligible to attend and vote in the 2026 elections. BLPA emphasized that only registered and active members will be allowed to vote during the AGM.
The Association also reiterated that no on‑site registration will be available on the day of the meeting, a measure intended to avoid delays and ensure a smooth and timely start to the AGM.
Farmers can complete their registration at the BLPA Office, through any Authorized Local Agent, at Cattle Offices in Mennonite communities, or via the Association’s online platform.
BLPA is encouraging all livestock producers to take advantage of the extended deadline and secure their membership status ahead of this important annual gathering.
