By Breaking Belize News Staff: The man accused of killing well-known street figure and businessman Kenneth “Big Tom” Flowers was back in court on Thursday for a third appearance on a charge of murder.
Fifty-year-old Sidney Lewis Peyreffitte, a tour guide employed at Exotic Shore Excursion appeared on Thursday morning before the Chief Magistrate in Court #1 at the Belize City Magistrate’s Court.
During Thursday’s sitting, the matter was adjourned once again. Peyreffitte is now scheduled to return to court on May 26, 2026.
He was first arraigned in the Belize City Magistrate’s Court on October 8, 2025. The case was initially adjourned to December 11, and this week marked his third court appearance.
Peyreffitte is accused of being the shooter in the fatal shooting of Flowers, which occurred on Monday, October 6, 2025, on Sittee Street in Belize City.
He remains unrepresented.
