By Aaron Humes: The Nissan Frontier SUV belonging to Bert Ramos, 55, of Lords’ Bank, Belize District, was shot at several times on Christmas Eve morning, and he is at a loss to figure out why.
According to Ramos, he was at home when the sound of gunfire erupted. When the shooting subsided, he stepped outside to investigate what had taken place, only to meet police and his bullet-riddled vehicle.
ACP Hilberto Romero, Regional Commander, Eastern Division told reporters on Wednesday that the investigation continues and police had not established any suspects, nor had they received any prior reports or complaints by or about Ramos
