Benque Viejo police conduct meet and greet in Zone 3, New Border Road Area

By Zoila Palma:  On July 16, residents of Zone 3 in the New Border Road Area welcomed officers from the Belize Police Department during a community Meet and Greet initiative aimed at strengthening relationships and enhancing public safety.

The outreach was led by Officer Commanding Superintendent Jesus Palma, along with ASP Angel Chan and Inspector Bernadine Sagasa of the Community Policing Unit (COPU).

The team was supported by personnel from the Special Branch, Prosecution, Traffic, and Relief units.

During the visit, the team visited 17 households.

Residents voiced their appreciation for the initiative, highlighting the importance of police presence and engagement in fostering a sense of security and trust within the community.
