By Aaron Humes: Police have detained three persons following a report of a robbery in Belmopan.
Police responded to a report of a robbery at Lopez Pharmacy in the Maya Mopan area on Wednesday afternoon, at approximately 12:35 p.m. Upon arrival, they spoke with the manager, who reported that while working with fellow co-workers, two men entered the establishment armed with a firearm, held them up, and stole $300 in cash. The culprits then fled the scene.
An investigation is underway.
