By Zoila Palma:  As the world faces rising environmental crises—ranging from plastic-choked oceans to deadly heatwaves and mass extinctions—Earth is sending a clear message: urgent action is needed.

This Earth Day, the Belmopan City Council, in partnership with Oceana Belize and Full Circle Belize, is answering that call.

Residents and businesses are invited to join a citywide clean-up campaign starting at 8:30 a.m. at the Main Stage, National Show Grounds.

Mayor Pablo Cawich and his team are leading the effort to promote sustainability, restore ecosystems, and protect biodiversity.

Let’s come together to help build a greener, healthier future—right here in Belmopan and around the world.
