By Zoila Palma: The National Trade Union Congress of Belize (NTUCB) and its union affiliates held their annual Labor Day Solidarity March and Rally on May 1st, 2025, in Belmopan, celebrating the contributions of workers nationwide under the theme: “United Through Labor, United We Win!”
The event paid tribute to the hardworking men and women who keep the country—and especially the capital—moving forward.
The day featured a vibrant parade, with floats showcasing creativity and union pride.
Belmopan Mayor Pablo Cawich delivered a warm welcome address and also served as a judge for the lively float competition.
