Belmopan Comprehensive secure 3rd Place in NSSSA Boys’ Football Championship

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Belmopan Comprehensive School claims third place in National Secondary Schools Sports Association (NSSSA) Boys Football Competition with 1-0 win over Julian Cho Technical at the Edmund Marshalleck Stadium in Benque Viejo del Carmen on Saturday.

Jason Stanford scored the decisive goal in the 19th minute.

The team rebounded from a 1-0 semifinal loss to Gwen Lizarraga High School on Friday. Meanwhile Julian Cho was edged out by Belize High School of Agriculture 5-4 in a penalty shootout after a 1-1 draw.

Gwen Lizarraga High School won the NSSSA Football Championship with a 3-1 victory over Belize High School of Agriculture on Saturday.
