By Zoila Palma: The Belmopan City Council, led by Mayor Pablo Cawich, is teaming up with Autism Belize to raise awareness for autism and promote inclusion.
The public is invited to join the Autism Walk 2025 on Saturday, April 12, 2025, to show support for the autism community.
The walk will begin at 5:45 AM at Governor General Field and proceed to Mae Gordon Park.
This year’s theme, “Kindness in Action, Understanding Autism, Building Community,” emphasizes the importance of unity in fostering a more inclusive society.
Participants are encouraged to wear blue and bring their energy to walk for understanding, acceptance, and community. Register now to be part of this important event and help make Belmopan a city that cares.
