By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Today, the Belmopan City Council issued a statement informing that it is recalling all taxi license plates issued in January 2024, with the series #BMPD 01061 to #BMPD 01110.
According to the statement, the plates are being recalled due to their invalidity.
“The public is notified that these plates were issued without due process, and we kindly request all holders of plates in this series to visit the Belmopan City Council with the plates for further instructions,” the council said.
The council apologized for any inconvenience this may cause.
