By Zoila Palma: On July 8, five schools in the Cayo District received a generous donation of vegetable seeds from Belmopan Aggregates and Hardware, supporting their “Farming in Schools” initiative.
The donation was received by Commander of Community Policing, Howell Gillett, who praised the initiative for promoting sustainability, food security, and youth engagement.
The initiative aims to instill agricultural skills and environmental awareness in students while strengthening community ties through education and collaboration.
