By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Belmopan City Council has announced temporary traffic and parking changes to accommodate the “A Toast to 2026 – Free Concert” on New Year’s Eve.

🚗 Parking Clearance:

All vehicles must be removed from the Civic Center and Post Office parking areas by 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 30. Any vehicles left behind will be towed at the owner’s expense.

🚧 One-Way Traffic on Bliss Parade:

To ease congestion near the concert venue, Bliss Parade will operate as a one-way street from 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 31st until Thursday, January 1st, 2026. Traffic will flow from the junction of South Ring Road and Bliss Parade (near the HRCU Building and Water Reservoir) toward West Ring Road (near the Belmopan Fire Station).

🎶 The free concert at the Civic Center Parking Lot will feature Trinidad & Tobago’s DJ ANA and ULTRA SIMMO, bringing Caribbean energy to Belmopan from 7:30 pm to 2:00 am.

The Council encourages all residents and visitors to plan ahead and cooperate with the temporary arrangements to ensure a safe and festive celebration.
