Belize’s players continue to lead in attack, defence, and reception, while Guatemala’s serving and setting prowess keeps them close behind. Honduras remain strong at the net and in backcourt coverage, with a trio of standout performers—Sasha Kawas, Dazly Durán, and Virginia Herdocia—driving consistency at both ends of the court. Kawas leads the tournament in overall scoring and reception efficiency, while Durán ranks among the best blockers and servers. Herdocia has made her mark as Honduras’ top middle blocker, averaging nearly one kill block per set and contributing in transition plays.
Together, they’ve helped Honduras stay competitive in high-pressure sets, particularly in Tuesday’s near-upset against Guatemala. With Belize returning to action Wednesday night, the battle among these top-ranked individuals promises to intensify as teams jockey for podium position.
