By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Belize’s Edgar Martinez and Francis Hauze have made a strong start at the Teams Final Stage, the 11th stop of the NORCECA 2025 Beach Volleyball Tour in Juan Dolio, Dominican Republic.
The men’s duo opened their campaign with two victories, defeating St. Kitts & Nevis and Martinique in group play. Their results have placed them in contention for the top of the group.
On Saturday, Martinez and Hauze face the host nation, the Dominican Republic, in a decisive matchup that will determine first place in the pool. A win would mark a significant achievement for Team Belize 
on the regional stage.
