Belize’s ATM Cave and Nohoch Che’en Reserve closed due to elevated river conditions

By Horace Palacio: The Institute of Archaeology (NICH) announced the closure of the Actun Tunichil Muknal (ATM) Cave and Nohoch Che’en Archaeological Reserve due to elevated river conditions. The popular tourist attractions will remain closed until further notice.

NICH is actively monitoring the situation and will provide updates as conditions change.

Visitors are advised to check for updates before planning any trips to these sites.
