By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Belizean Roque Matus won the 50-mile (80 kilometre) Classical Utopia Open Master’s race in Merida, Yucatán, Mexico on Saturday morning.
“The Cycling Federation of Belize would like to congratulate Mr. Roque Matus of Team MnM on winning the Open Master’s of the Classical Utopia in Merida,” the Cycling Federation of Belize said in a social media post on Saturday morning.
Belizean riders often compete in races in the neighbouring Mexican states of Quintana Roo and Yucatán.
