By Zoila Palma: Belizean race car driver Alex Bowen recently competed in the 2026 Italian GT Endurance Championship Season Finale, held from October 30 to November 1 at the Mugello Circuit in Tuscany, Italy.
At just 18 years old, Bowen drove a Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO2 for Vincenzo Sospiri Racing (VSR), competing alongside international teams and experienced drivers.
The Belize Tourism Board said that Bowen’s participation in the championship marks a notable milestone for Belizean motorsports.
