By Zoila Palma: Today, the British High Commission in Belize has announced the successful commissioning of Belizean Officer Cadet Treston Flowers, who participated in the prestigious Sovereign’s Parade at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
The event marked the culmination of nearly a year of rigorous training and the beginning of his service as a commissioned officer.
Officer Cadet Flowers completed 44 weeks of intensive military and defence instruction, a programme renowned for shaping future leaders of armed forces across the Commonwealth and around the world.
According to the High Commission, Flowers consistently demonstrated confidence, discipline, and strong leadership qualities throughout the course, representing both Belize and the Belize Defence Force with exceptional distinction.
His commissioning has been celebrated as a moment of national pride.
The British High Commission extended congratulations to Flowers.
