By Zoila Palma: Today, the Football Federation of Belize (FFB) extended best wishes to Marlon Meza Jr .as he embarks on an exciting new opportunity.
Marlon was selected for a two-week trial with Braga Sporting Club in Portugal.
The trial is taking place from March 30 to April 12, 2026.
“He begins his journey today, proudly representing Belize on an international stage.
We are confident that Marlon will showcase his talent, dedication, and passion for the game. We wish him the very best during this trial and look forward to his safe return to his club in Jamaica on April 14, 2026,” the FFB expressed.
Last month, Meza Jr delivered a superb performance scoring a goal and setting up the other two for Belize against Grenada in 3-0 win at the Concacaf U20 Championship.
Meza has represented Belize at U15, U17, U20, and already the Senior Men’s National Team and debuted for the BMNT “A” team on February 14, 2025, against Costa Rica—while still a regular starter for the U17s.
