Belizean footballer Jardehl Muschamp tries out for 2nd Division Honduran club Deportes Savio

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Belizean footballer Jardehl  Muschamp is in Honduras, trying out with second division team Deportes Savio in La Union, Department of Copán.

Mushamp, one of Belize’s promising young midfielders, plays at home for Altitude and also for the Belize Men’s National Team.

Belizan players like Elroy Smith, Harrison ‘Cafu’ Roches, and Deon McCauley have played before but at the 1st Division level. Deportes Savio are currently not playing at Santa Rosa; they are playing out of La Unión. Their goal is to return to Honduras top flight first division referred to as the Liga Nacional de Fútbol Profesional de Honduras (Honduran National Professional Football League) and to the city of Santa Rosa de Copán.

Muschamp is participating in their preseason tryouts. He is accompanied in Honduras by former Altitude coach Wilmer Garcia.

Shane Orio and Elroy Kuylen have also played in the Honduran National Professional Football League.
