Belize Women’s National Team received with motorcade through Corozal, Orange Walk, Belmopan

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Belize Women’s National Team (BWNT), which won six consecutive games enroute to qualifying to the Concacaf League B, is being received by the Football Federation of Belize (FFB) with a motorcade through Corozal Town, Orange Walk Town, and capital Belmopan.

The FFB said the BWNT was expected at the Belize/Mexico border at 7:00 am.
“Join the motorcade or cheer them on as they pass by!” the FFB said in a statement on social media.

“Bring out your flags and wear your red, white and blue!”

After the motorcade the FFB will hold a press conference at 1:00 pm.

The motorcade routes are below:

Corozal – 7:30 am
Starting at Santa Rita Hill roundabout
Santa Rita Hill roundabout into Corozal Town taking a left at First Street South, left into 5th Avenue, right into 5th Street North, right into 4th Avenue, back to the Northern Highway

Orange Walk- 10:00 am
Starting at the entrance of the round about up to Toll bridge

Belmopan
Starting at the BNE roundabout
Proceeding down the Hummingbird Highway, left onto Constitution Drive, right onto South Ring Road, proceeding onto East Ring Road, North Ring Road, left onto Constitution Drive, right onto Hummingbird Highway
Ends at FFB Compound
