By Breaking Belize News Staff: The National Meteorological Service forecasts mostly sunny skies and warm temperatures today. Tonight will be breezy, and skies will be clear to partly cloudy. Showers, if any, will be light and isolated. A moderate to strong easterly airflow prevails.
High temperatures today are forecasted at 90 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 96 degrees in inland areas and 84 degrees in the hills, with lows tonight around 83 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 74 degrees in inland areas, and 68 degrees in the hills.
Winds are easterly at ten to 20 knots with higher gusts, resulting in moderate to rough seas. Due to occasionally gusty winds and rough seas, especially beyond the Barrier Reef, operators of small crafts should exercise caution.
Tides are high as of 11:14 this morning. The low tide follows at 6:58 this evening. The sun rose at 5:19 this morning and will set at 6:17 this evening.
