By Breaking Belize News Staff: According to the National Meteorological Service, light and relatively moist airflow prevails. Over the next 24 hours, expect sunny skies today with cloudy intervals. Tonight, skies will be cloudy at times with a few showers and a low chance for isolated thunderstorms to develop offshore and along some coastal areas during the morning hours. These will move to inland areas during the afternoon and evening hours and redevelop along coastal areas tonight and tomorrow morning.
Average high temperatures forecast today will be 84 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 86 degrees in inland areas, and 77 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 76 degrees along the coast, 68 degrees inland, and 63 degrees in the hills.
Winds are northerly to northwesterly at five to 10 knots, becoming northerly to northeasterly at five to 10 knots, and seas run at light chop.
Tides will be low at 8:53 this morning and 8:28 this evening and high at 2:57 this afternoon. The sun rose at 6:12 this morning and sets at 5:18 this evening.
The extended outlook for Thursday and Thursday night is for a few showers to develop over most areas, but more so along the coast.
