Belize Weather: Staying hot

By Breaking Belize News Staff: The National Meteorological Service forecasts mostly sunny skies today and partly cloudy skies tonight. Little or no rain is expected. Seasonably warm and dry conditions continue…

High temperatures today are forecasted at 90 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 97 degrees in inland areas and 84 degrees in the hills, with lows tonight around 80 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 72 degrees in inland areas, and 66 degrees in the hills. A heat alert is in effect as temperatures inland are expected to reach or exceed 97 degrees Fahrenheit. Residents, especially those inland, are advised to stay hydrated and avoid outdoor activity, especially during the afternoon hours.

Winds are easterly to southeasterly at ten to 20 knots, resulting in light chop to moderate seas.

Tides will be high at 11:27 this morning and low at 7:14 this evening. The sun rose at 5:24 this morning and will set at 6:14 this evening.

Warm, mostly dry and somewhat windy conditions are expected for Wednesday and Wednesday night.
