Belize Weather: Staying cool

By Breaking Belize News Staff: Expect cloudy skies today with sunny breaks and partly cloudy skies tonight. Little to no rain is expected except for light showers off the southern coast as the cool, mostly dry and windy northerly airflow prevails.

High temperatures peak at 78 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 79 degrees in inland areas and 67 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 67 degrees along the coast, 59 degrees inland and 54 degrees in the hills.

Winds will be northerly to northwesterly at ten to twenty knots with higher gusts and seas will be rough. A small craft caution is in effect.

Tides are currently low as of 8:19 this morning. A high tide will occur at 2:40 this afternoon and low at 10:59 tonight. The sun rose at 6:14 this morning and will set at 5:57 this evening.

Fair weather conditions prevail on Wednesday.
