Belize Weather: Seasonably warm

By Breaking Belize News Staff: Over the next 24 hours, according to the National Meteorological Service, skies will be mostly sunny today with hotter temperatures inland. Tonight skies will be partly cloudy. Little or no rainfall is expected.

Average high temperatures forecast today will be 90 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 100 degrees in inland areas, and 84 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 82 degrees along the coast, 74 degrees inland, and 68 degrees in the hills. A heat alert is in effect as temperatures inland are expected to reach and exceed 97 degrees Fahrenheit. Residents, especially those inland, are advised to stay hydrated and avoid outdoor activity as much as possible, especially during the afternoon hours.

Winds are easterly to southeasterly at ten to 20 knots, and seas light chop to choppy.

Tides will be high at 8:48 this morning and 10:21 this evening and low at 4:03 this afternoon.

The sun sets at 6:15 this evening and rises at 5:23 Wednesday morning.

The outlook for Wednesday is for similar conditions to prevail.
