Belize Weather: Run of fair weather continues into weekend

By Breaking Belize News Staff: The National Meteorological Service says fair and mostly dry conditions continue. Over the next 24 hours, there will be sunny skies today with a few cloudy spells. Tonight, skies will be clear to partly cloudy. Only isolated showers can be expected.

Average high temperatures forecast today will be 85 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 90 degrees in inland areas; and 78 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 79 degrees along the coast, 69 degrees inland and 65 degrees in the hills.

Winds will be easterly to southeasterly at 10 to 20 knots, and sea state is choppy.

Tides are low as of 7:34 this morning. A high tide occurs at 1:39 this afternoon and a low tide at 9:40 this evening.

The sun sets at 5:59 this evening and rises at 6:10 Sunday morning.

Sunday’s forecast is for continued fair weather with little to no rainfall.
